Unique terroir
Our olive trees stand proudly on the Cretan soil and are centuries old.
They bring the maturity of time, and a long history of olive oil production. Located in semi-mountainous areas, at an altitude of almost 500 meters, they inherit the unique terroir of the Sitian land, recognized by UNESCO as a global Geoprak for its unique character, biodiversity distinctive characteristics that make it unique and of international value
The unique terroir resulting in extra fine olive oil products is nominated the Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) Sitia, Lasithi Greece for which we are proud to be certified.
“We cultivate the soil, not only the olive trees” It is the belief that the olive tree lives symbiotically with those microorganisms that grow in the soil. You need to think holistically, and the tree gently returns the care and effort back.
