An extra virgin olive oil from our privately owned olive groves, which are located in northeastern Crete, in the semi-mountainous villages of Exo Mouliana, Paraspori, Tourtouli of the province of Sitia, at an altitude of about 450 - 550 m.
The soil characteristics and the special microclimate of the area are ideal for the cultivation and production of quality olive oil. The traditional methods used during the harvest combined with the modern methods of production and storage ensures its special characteristics and superior quality.
The olives are harvested in November by hand or with special machines, so that the fruit is not injured, they are transported as soon as possible to the oil mill, where the olive oil is exported on the same day with cold pressing (T <270C).
The designation as PDO, (Protected Designation of Origin) by the EU guarantees the superior quality and integrity of the product.
